Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 7912 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: When

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, created the creation and decreed the decree, He took the people of the right in His right hand and the people of the left in His left hand. Then He said: 'O people of the right!' They said: 'Here we are, at Your service and ready to obey You.' He said: 'Am I not your Lord?' They said: 'Yes, indeed.' Then He said: 'O people of the left!' They said: 'Here we are, at Your service and ready to obey You.' He said: 'Am I not your Lord?' They said: 'Yes, indeed.' Then He mixed them together. At this someone said: 'O my Lord! Why did You mix them together?' He said: 'They have deeds besides that which they will do, so that on the Day of Resurrection they cannot say: We were unaware of this.' Then He returned them into the loins of Adam (peace be upon him)."
