يحيى بن أيوب المصري، عن عبيد الله بن زحر، عن علي بن يزيد، عن القاسم، عن أبي أمامة الباهلي
Yahya bin Ayyub al-Misri from Ubaydullah bin Zahr from Ali bin Yazid from al-Qasim from Abu Umamah al-Bahili (may Allah be pleased with him)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 7816 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Whenever

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، أنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ زَحْرٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَا جَاءَنِي جِبْرِيلُ قَطُّ إِلَّا أَمَرَنِي بِالسِّوَاكِ حَتَّى لَقَدْ خَشِيتُ أَنْ أُحْفِيَ مُقَدَّمَ فَمِي»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whenever Jibril came to me, he always commanded me to use the tooth-stick (miswak), until I feared that I would wear away the front of my mouth."
