خالد بن معدان، عن أبي أمامة رضي الله عنه
Khalid bin Madan from Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 7445 — the Prophet ﷺ said: Whatever a man spends
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمُعَلَّى الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ بَحِيرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمْ قَالَ: «مَا أَنْفَقَ الرَّجُلُ فِي بَيْتِهِ وَأَهْلِهِ وَوَلَدِهِ وَخَدَمِهِ، فَهُوَ لَهُ صَدَقَةٌ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whatever a man spends on his household, his family, his children and his servants is charity for him."
