Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 727 — a Bedouin came to the Prophet ﷺ and put

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that a Bedouin came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and put his eye to the (house's) opening and peeped inside. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw him and took aim at him with a stick or an iron rod, intending to put out his eye. When he saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), he shrank back and withdrew. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: "Listen, had you stayed where you were, I would have put out your eye."
