Sakhr bin al-Aylah al-Bajali (may Allah be pleased with him)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 7249 — The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْأَسَدِيُّ، ثنا أَبَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، وكَثِيرِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ صَخْرِ بْنِ الْعَيْلَةِ، قَالَ: غَزَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمْ ثَقِيفًا، فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sakhr bin al-Aylah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) went on a campaign against Thaqif; then he narrated a hadith like it.
