Yala bin Shaddad bin Aws from his father
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 7129 — In the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَمَّادِ بْنِ زُغْبَةَ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، أنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ غَزِيَّةَ، عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ شَدَّادِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: «كُنَّا نَعُدُّ الرِّيَاءَ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالشِّرْكِ الْأَصْغَرِ»
Sayyiduna Shaddad bin Aws (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: In the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) we used to count showing off (riya') as the lesser shirk.
