Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 7112 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: The wise

Sayyiduna Shaddad bin Aws (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The wise person is the one who holds himself to account and works for what comes after death, and the incapable one is the one who makes his soul follow its desires and places vain hopes in Allah."
