Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 7099 — The Prophet ﷺ passed by Ma'qil bin Yasar

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ مَنْدَهِ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي هَانِئٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَشْعَثِ، عَنْ شَدَّادِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ، قَالَ: مَرَّ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى مَعْقِلِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ، وَهُوَ يَحْتَجِمُ، فَقَالَ: «أَفْطَرَ الْحَاجِمُ، وَالْمَحْجُومُ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Shaddad bin Aws (may Allah be pleased with him); he said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by Ma'qil bin Yasar (may Allah be pleased with him) in the month of Ramadan while he was being cupped, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The one who cups and the one who is cupped have both broken their fast."
