وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ رَضِي اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا غَزَا أَوْ سَافَرَ، فَأَقْبَلَ رَاجِعًا إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ يَقُولُ: «آيِبُونَ لِرَبِّنَا حَامِدُونَ , لِرَبِّنَا عَابِدُونَ»
Through the same chain, it is narrated from Sayyiduna Samurah bin Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him); he said: When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) went out on a military expedition or a journey and came back towards Madinah, he would say: "We are returning, praising our Lord, worshipping our Lord."
