Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 7049 — from Sayyiduna Samurah that when rain
اُردوEn
وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا مُطِرْنَا فِي السَّفَرِ، وَنُودِيَ بِالصَّلَاةِ، مِنْ كَرَاهِيَةِ أَنْ يَشُقَّ عَلَيْنَا، يَأْمُرُ الْمُؤَذِّنَ أَنْ: «صَلُّوا فِي رِحَالِكُمْ»
Through the same chain, it is narrated from Sayyiduna Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that when rain fell on us during a journey and the call to prayer was given, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), so that it would not be hard on us, would command the muezzin to say: "Pray in your dwellings."
