حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، ثنا دُحَيْمٌ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَسَّانَ، ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا خُبَيْبُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ: «كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَنْهَى الرَّجُلَ أَنْ يَتَبَتَّلَ، وَحَرَّمَ وُلُوجَ بُيُوتِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ»
Sayyiduna Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to forbid a man from tabattul (renouncing marriage in self-denial), and he declared entering the houses of the believers (without permission) to be forbidden.
