Abu Hurrah Wasil bin Abd al-Rahman from al-Hasan from Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 6906 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Every boy

حَدَّثَنَا أَسْلَمُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، ثنا طَلْقُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ السَّكَنِ، ثنا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ النَّجَّارُ، عَنْ أَبِي حُرَّةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «كُلُّ غُلَامٍ مُرْتَهَنٌ بِعَقِيقَتِهِ، يُذْبَحُ عَنْهُ يَوْمَ سَابِعِهِ، وَيُحْلَقُ رَأْسُهُ، وَيُسَمَّى»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Samurah bin Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Every boy is held in pledge for his aqiqah; (an animal) is to be slaughtered on his behalf on the seventh day, his head is to be shaved, and he is to be given a name."
