Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 6903 — the Prophet ﷺ, when he delivered

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَاشِدٍ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، ثنا الْهَيْثَمُ بْنُ مَرْوَانَ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، ثنا زَيْدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ بَشِيرٍ، عَنْ مَطَرٍ الْوَرَّاقِ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ: «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ إِذَا خَطَبَ حَتَّى يُرَى بَيَاضُ إِبْطَيْهِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), when he delivered a sermon, would raise his hands so high that the whiteness of his (peace and blessings be upon him) armpits could be seen.
