Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 6896 — the Prophet ﷺ said: Whoever performs

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، ثنا الْجَرَّاحُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ، ثنا خَالِدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَبِهَا وَنِعِمَتْ، وَمَنِ اغْتَسَلَ فَالْغُسْلُ أَفْضَلُ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever performs ablution (wudu) on Friday, that is sufficient and good, and whoever takes a ritual bath (ghusl), the ghusl is better."
