Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 6894 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: When two

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ طَارِقٍ الْوَابِشِيُّ، ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ عَطِيَّةَ الصَّفَّارُ، عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِذَا أَنْكَحَ الْوَلِيَّانِ فَالْأَوَّلُ أَحَقُّ، وَإِذَا بَاعَ الْبَيِّعَانِ فَالْأَوَّلُ أَحَقُّ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When two guardians give (a woman) in marriage, the first has more right; and when two sellers sell (the same thing), the first has more right."
