Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 6884 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: The one

حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ الْبَغَوِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ جَبَلَةَ، ثنا سَلَّامُ بْنُ أَبِي مُطِيعٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «الْمُسْتَشَارُ مُؤْتَمَنٌ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The one whose counsel is sought is entrusted (and must be trustworthy)."
