Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 6877 — The Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded us

حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْفِرْيَابِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْحَرَّانِيُّ، ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ مِقْسَمٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ: «أَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ نُسَلِّمَ عَلَى نِسَائِنَا، وَأَنْ يَرُدَّ بَعْضُنَا عَلَى بَعْضٍ»
Sayyiduna Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded us to give salam to our wives, and to respond to one another's salam.
