Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 6860 — The Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded us

حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِرْقٍ الْحِمْصِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُصَفًّى، ثنا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ: «أَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا سَلَّمَ الْإِمَامُ أَنْ نَرُدَّ عَلَيْهِ»
Sayyiduna Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded us that when the imam says the salam (to end the prayer), we should respond to him.
