It is narrated from Sayyiduna Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The bitterest regrets of the children of Adam are over three (things): a man who had a beautiful and lovely wife, and she bore him a boy, then she died, and he does not have enough (wealth) to have his son nursed; a second man who was riding a horse in a military expedition, he saw the spoils of war and raced towards them to get ahead of his companions, until, when he came near them, the horse fell and he died, and his companions took possession of the spoils and divided them among themselves; and a third man who had crops and a camel for drawing water, and when his crops were ripe and ready for harvest, his camel died, and he did not have enough (wealth) to buy another camel."
