It is narrated from Sayyiduna Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever finds his property itself (unchanged) has the greater right to it, and the buyer should pursue (for compensation of his loss) the one who sold it to him."
