حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ، ثنا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ثنا هِشَامٌ، ثنا قَتَادَةُ، أَنَّ أَنَسًا دَفَنَ ابْنًا لَهُ، فَقَالَ: «اللهُمَّ جَافِ الْأَرْضَ عَنْ جَنْبِهِ، وَافْتَحْ أَبْوَابَ السَّمَاءِ لِرُوحِهِ، وَأَبْدِلْهُ دَارًا خَيْرًا مِنْ دَارِهِ»
Qatadah said: Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) buried a son of his, and supplicated: "O Allah, keep the earth away from his sides, open the gates of the heaven for his soul, and give him in exchange a home better than his home."
