Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 6788 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Whoever

حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ الْقَاضِي، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمِنْهَالِ، ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَبِهَا وَنِعْمَتْ، وَمَنِ اغْتَسَلَ فَالْغُسْلُ أَفْضَلُ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever performs ablution (wudu) on Friday, that is sufficient and good; and whoever takes a ritual bath (ghusl), the ghusl is better."
