Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 6764 — the Prophet ﷺ said: Do not name your
حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الرَّقِّيُّ، ثنا أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ الْمُقْعَدُ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، ثنا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ، قَالَا: ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُحَادَةَ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنِ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ عُمَيْلَةَ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «لَا تُسَمِّ عَبْدَكَ رَبَاحًا، وَلَا نَجِيحًا، وَلَا أَفْلَحَ، وَلَا يَسَارًا»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not name your slave Rabah, Najih, Aflah or Yasar."
