حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا عُمَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الدَّاهِرِيُّ، عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ: «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى أَنْ يَقُدَّ الرَّجُلُ السَّيْرَ بَيْنَ إِصْبَعَيْهِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Samurah bin Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade a man to cut a leather strap between his two fingers.
