حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ، ثنا نُعَيْمُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ، ثنا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، أنا وِقَاءُ بْنُ إِيَاسٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ: «عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ خَطَبَ النَّاسَ، فَنَهَى عَنِ الدُّبَّاءِ وَالْمُزَفَّتِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Samurah bin Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) addressed the people and forbade (keeping nabidh in) dried gourd vessels and pitch-coated vessels.
