حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ، ثنا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ثنا هِشَامٌ الدَّسْتُوَائِيُّ، ثنا قَتَادَةُ، «أَنَّ أَنَسًا رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ ضَعُفَ عَنَ الصَّوْمِ قَبْلَ مَوْتِهِ عَامًا، فَأَفْطَرَ، وَأَطْعَمَ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ مِسْكِينًا»
Qatadah said: A year before his death, Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) became too weak to fast, so he stopped fasting and fed a poor person for every day.
