Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 6688 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: When one

حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ مَرْثَدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَابِطٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِذَا أُصِيبَ أَحَدُكُمْ بِمُصِيبَةٍ، فَلْيَذْكُرْ مُصِيبَتَهُ بِي، فَإِنَّهَا أَعْظَمُ الْمَصَائِبِ عِنْدَهُ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sabit (may Allah be pleased with him) (the father of Abdur-Rahman) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When one of you is struck by a calamity, let him remember the calamity of (losing) me, for it is the greatest of calamities for him."
