حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمْزَةَ، ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي فَرْوَةَ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ خُصَيْفَةَ أَنَّهُ أَخْبَرَهُ، عَنِ السَّائِبِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " فُضِّلْتُ عَلَى الْأَنْبِيَاءِ بِخَمْسٍ: بُعِثْتُ إِلَى النَّاسِ كَافَّةً، وَادَّخَرْتُ شَفَاعَتِي لِأُمَّتِي، وَنُصِرْتُ بِالرُّعْبِ شَهْرًا أَمَامِي , وَشَهْرًا خَلْفِي، وَجُعِلَتْ لِيَ الْأَرْضُ مَسْجِدًا وَطَهُورًا، وَأُحِلَّتْ لِيَ الْغَنَائِمُ وَلَمْ تَحِلَّ لِأَحَدٍ قَبْلِي "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna al-Sa'ib bin Yazid (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I have been given preference over the other prophets with five things: I have been sent to all mankind; I have stored up my intercession for my Ummah; I have been helped by awe, a month's distance ahead of me and a month's distance behind me; the earth has been made for me a place of prayer and a means of purification; and the spoils of war have been made lawful for me, which were not lawful for anyone before me."
