حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ: «فِي تَسْمِيَةِ مَنِ اسْتُشْهِدَ يَوْمَ مُؤْتَةَ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ ثُمَّ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ ثُمَّ مِنْ بَنِي النَّجَّارِ ثُمَّ مِنْ بَنِي مَازِنِ بْنِ النَّجَّارِ سُرَاقَةُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ بْنِ خَنْسَاءَ»
Urwah said: Among the Muslims martyred on the day of Mu'tah, then from the Ansar, then from Banu al-Najjar, then from Banu Mazin bin al-Najjar: Suraqah bin Amr bin Atiyyah bin Khansa' (may Allah be pleased with him).
