Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 6458 — Two men insulted each other

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sulayman bin Surad (may Allah be pleased with him); he said: Two men insulted each other in the presence of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and one of them became intensely angry. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I know a word which, if he were to say it, this state of his would leave him. If he were to say: 'A'udhu billahi min al-shaytan' (I seek refuge with Allah from Satan), this state of his would leave him."
