Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 6379 — I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ثنا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ، ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ سُفْيَانَ بْنَ أَبِي زُهَيْرٍ الْأَزْدِيَّ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «تُفْتَحُ الْيَمَنُ، فَيَأْتِي قَوْمٌ يَبُسُّونَ، فَيَتَحَمَّلُونَ بِأَهْلِيهِمْ، وَمَنْ أَطَاعَهُمْ وَالْمَدِينَةُ خَيْرٌ لَهُمْ لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ , ثُمَّ تُفْتَحُ الْعِرَاقُ، فَيَأْتِي قَوْمٌ يَبُسُّونَ، فَيَتَحَمَّلُونَ بِأَهْلِيهِمْ وَمَنْ أَطَاعَهُمْ، وَالْمَدِينَةُ خَيْرٌ لَهُمْ لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ، ثُمَّ تُفْتَحُ الشَّامُ، فَيَأْتِي قَوْمٌ يَبُسُّونَ، فَيَتَحَمَّلُونَ بِأَهْلِيهِمْ وَمَنْ أَطَاعَهُمْ، وَالْمَدِينَةُ خَيْرٌ لَهُمْ لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ»
Sayyiduna Sufyan bin Abi Zuhayr al-Azdi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Yemen will be conquered, and some people will come driving (their animals), and they will take away their families and those who follow them, although Madinah would be better for them, if only they knew. Then Iraq will be conquered, and some people will come driving (their animals), and they will take away their families and those who follow them, although Madinah would be better for them, if only they knew. Then Syria will be conquered, and some people will come driving (their animals), and they will take away their families and those who follow them, although Madinah would be better for them, if only they knew."
