Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 632 — Ma'dan had a dispute with a man over some

It is narrated from Sayyiduna al-Ash'ath bin Qays (may Allah be pleased with him) that Ma'dan had a dispute with a man over some land, so the two of them went to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He (peace and blessings be upon him) ruled that one of them must take an oath, and the other said: Will he then take away my land? He said: "If he swears by Allah falsely, then -" Ibn Awn (may Allah have mercy on him) said: (Here) he (peace and blessings be upon him) said something severe.
