Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 6279 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me: When

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ يَسَافٍ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِذَا اسْتَنْشَقْتَ فَانْتَثِرْ، وَإِذَا اسْتَجْمَرْتَ فَأَوْتِرْ»
Sayyiduna Salamah bin Qays al-Ashja'i (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: "When you draw water into your nose, blow it out, and when you clean yourself with stones, use an odd number."
