Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 6271 — he went to al-Hajjaj, who said: O Ibn

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Salamah bin al-Akwa' (may Allah be pleased with him) that he went to al-Hajjaj, who said: O Ibn al-Akwa', have you turned back on your heels and become a bedouin? He said: "No, rather the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) gave me permission to live in the desert."
