Yazid bin Abi Ubayd, freed slave of Salamah, from Salamah (may Allah be pleased with him)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 6255 — I went on seven military expeditions

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ، ثنا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَ: «غَزَوْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَبْعَ غَزَوَاتٍ، وَمَعَ زَيْدِ بْنِ حَارِثَةَ سَبْعَ غَزَوَاتٍ، كَانَ يُؤَمِّرُهُ عَلَيْنَا»
Sayyiduna Salamah bin al-Akwa' (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: I went on seven military expeditions with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and seven expeditions with Sayyiduna Zayd bin Harithah (may Allah be pleased with him), in which he (peace and blessings be upon him) appointed him as commander over us.
