Umar bin Rashid al-Yamami from Iyas bin Salamah
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 6227 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: A man

حَدَّثَنَا الْمِقْدَامُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ، ثنا أَسَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثنا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ رَاشِدٍ، عَنْ إِيَاسِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا يَزَالُ الرَّجُلُ يَتَكَبَّرُ وَيَذْهَبُ بِنَفْسِهِ حَتَّى يُكْتَبَ مِنَ الْجَبَّارِينَ، فَيُصِيبَهُ مَا أَصَابَهُمْ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Salamah bin al-Akwa' (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A man keeps on being arrogant and self-admiring until he is recorded among the tyrants, and then what befell them befalls him."
