سلمان بن عامر الضبي رضي الله عنه كان ينزل البصرة وبها مات
Salman bin Amir al-Dabbi (may Allah be pleased with him), who lived in Basrah and died there
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 6174 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ حَسَّانَ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ بِنْتِ سِيرِينَ، عَنِ الرَّبَابِ، عَنْ سَلْمَانَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الضَّبِّيِّ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَعَ الْغُلَامِ عَقِيقَتُهُ، فَأَهْرِيقُوا عَنْهُ دَمًا، وَأَمِيطُوا عَنْهُ الْأَذَى»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Salman bin Amir al-Dabbi (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "With the boy is his aqiqah, so shed blood on his behalf and remove the harm from him."
