Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 6143 — the Prophet ﷺ said: I named the two

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا أَبُو غَسَّانَ مَالِكُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ النَّهْدِيُّ، ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ، ثنا بَرْذَعَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي الْخَلِيلِ، عَنْ سَلْمَانَ قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «سَمَّيْتُهُمَا، يَعْنِي الْحَسَنَ وَالْحُسَيْنَ بِاسْمِ ابْنَيْ هَارُونَ شَبَرًا وشُبَيْرًا»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Salman al-Farisi (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I named the two of them" (meaning Sayyiduna Hasan and Sayyiduna Husayn (may Allah be pleased with them both)) "after the two sons of Harun (peace be upon him), Shabbar and Shubayr."
