حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ، ثنا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحَرِيشِ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ السِّخْتِيَانِيِّ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ الْفُرَاتِ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي شُرَيْحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ سَلْمَانَ، " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ: يَمْسَحُ عَلَى الْعِمَامَةِ وَالْخُفَّيْنِ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Salman al-Farisi (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to wipe over the turban and the leather socks (khuffs).
