حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَارُودِيُّ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ طَهْمَانَ، عَنْ أَبَانَ بْنِ أَبِي عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ سَلْمَانَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «إِنَّ الْعَبْدَ الْمُؤْمِنَ إِذَا قَامَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ، وُضِعَتْ ذُنُوبُهُ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ، فَتَفَرَّقُ عَنْهُ كَمَا تَفَرَّقُ عُذُوقُ النَّخْلَةِ يَمِينًا وَشِمَالًا»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Salman (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, when the believing servant stands for prayer, his sins are placed upon his head, then they scatter from him just as the clusters of a date palm scatter to the right and the left."
