حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنْبَاعِ رَوْحُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ الْمِصْرِيُّ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَلْمَانَ الْجُعْفِيُّ، ثنا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ سَلْمَانَ قَالَ: «نَهَانَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ نَسْتَقْبِلَ الْقِبْلَةَ بِقَضَاءِ الْحَاجَةِ، وَأَنْ نَسْتَنْجِيَ بِدُونِ ثَلَاثَةِ أَحْجَارٍ، وَأَنْ نَسْتَنْجِيَ بِعَظْمٍ أَوْ رَجِيعٍ»
Sayyiduna Salman (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade us from facing the qiblah while relieving ourselves, from cleaning ourselves (istinja) with fewer than three stones, and from cleaning ourselves with a bone or dung."
