حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ، ثنا أَبُو مَسْعُودٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْفُرَاتِ، ثنا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَهْلٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ
حَدَّثَنَا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا، ثنا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ فِي الْجَنَّةِ بَابًا يُقَالُ لَهُ الرَّيَّانُ، يَدْخُلُ مِنْهُ الصَّائِمُونَ، فَإِذَا دَخَلُوا أُغْلِقَ»
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حُصَيْنٍ الْقَاضِي، ثنا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ، ثنا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لِكُلِّ بَابٍ مِنْ أَبْوَابِ الْبِرِّ بَابٌ مِنْ أَبْوَابِ الْجَنَّةِ، وَإِنَّ بَابَ الصَّوْمِ يُدْعَى الرَّيَّانَ»
حَدَّثَنَا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا، ثنا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ فِي الْجَنَّةِ بَابًا يُقَالُ لَهُ الرَّيَّانُ، يَدْخُلُ مِنْهُ الصَّائِمُونَ، فَإِذَا دَخَلُوا أُغْلِقَ»
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حُصَيْنٍ الْقَاضِي، ثنا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ، ثنا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لِكُلِّ بَابٍ مِنْ أَبْوَابِ الْبِرِّ بَابٌ مِنْ أَبْوَابِ الْجَنَّةِ، وَإِنَّ بَابَ الصَّوْمِ يُدْعَى الرَّيَّانَ»
Through another chain as well, Sayyiduna Sahl (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates a similar hadith from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, in Paradise there is a gate called al-Rayyan; those who fast will enter through it, and when they have entered, it will be closed."
It is also narrated from Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "For every gate of righteousness there is a gate among the gates of Paradise, and the gate of fasting is called 'al-Rayyan'."
