حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، ثنا الصَّلْتُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ، ثنا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُتِيَ بِشَرَابٍ، وَعَنْ يَمِينِهِ غُلَامٌ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ أَشْيَاخٌ، فَشَرِبَ ثُمَّ نَاوَلَ الْغُلَامَ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) that a drink was brought to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). On his right was a boy and on his left were elderly men. He (peace and blessings be upon him) drank from it, then gave it to the boy.
