حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا هَارُونُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ: كَانَ بَيْنَ الْأَنْصَارِ كَوْنٌ، فَانْطَلَقَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِيُصْلِحَ بَيْنَهُمْ، فَقَالَ لِبِلَالٍ: «إِنِ احْتُبِسْتُ، فَأَقِمِ الصَّلَاةَ، وَمُرْ أَبَا بَكْرٍ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ بِالنَّاسِ» ، فَجَاءَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ يُصَلِّي بِالنَّاسِ، فَصَلَّى خَلْفَهُ
Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) relates that there was a dispute among the Ansar, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) set out to make peace between them. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him): "If I am delayed, call the iqamah for the prayer and tell Abu Bakr to lead the people in prayer." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) arrived while Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) was leading the people in prayer, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed behind him.
