حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَوْنٍ، ثنا هُشَيْمٌ، عَنْ أَبِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ للصَّحابَةِ، وَلِمَنْ رَأَى مَنْ رَآنِي» ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ: فَمَا قَوْلُهُ: وَلِمَنْ رَأَى؟ قَالَ: «مَنْ رَأَى مَنْ رَآهُمْ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Allah, forgive the Companions, and also the one who saw the one who saw me." The narrator said: I asked: What does "and also the one who saw" mean? He said: "The one who saw the one who saw them."
