Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 5718 — from Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa'd. Imam Hammad

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him). Imam Hammad said: Then I met Abu Hazim and he narrated this hadith to me, and I found nothing objectionable in what he narrated to me. The narrator then mentioned the hadith about the prayer, in which it says: Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: It is not fitting for Ibn Abi Quhafah to lead the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) in prayer. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When something happens to you during the prayer, the men should say Subhan Allah and the women should clap."
