حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، ثنا أَبُو مُصْعَبٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْمُهَيْمِنِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى أَنْ يُنْفَخَ فِي الشَّرَابِ، وَأَنْ يُشْرَبَ مِنْ ثَلَمَةِ الْقَدَحِ أَوْ أُذُنِهِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade blowing into a drink, and drinking from the chipped edge of a vessel or from the side of its handle.
