حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ بَحْرٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْمُهَيْمِنِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «لَا شُؤْمَ، وَإِنْ يَكُ شُؤْمٌ فَفِي الْفَرَسِ وَالْمَرْأَةِ وَالْمَسْكَنِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "There is no ill omen; and if there could be an ill omen anywhere, it would be in a horse, a woman and a dwelling."
