حَدَّثَنَا مَسْعَدَةُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ الْعَطَّارُ الْمَكِّيُّ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ الْحِزَامِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو ضَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حَرْمَلَةَ، عَنْ سَعْدٍ الظَّفَرِيِّ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنِ الْكَيِّ، وَقَالَ: «أَكْرَهُ الْحَمِيمَ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sa'd al-Zafari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade cauterisation and said: "I dislike boiling water."
