حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ النَّحْوِيُّ، ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِرْقٍ الْحِمْصِيُّ، وَعَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، قَالَا: ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ الضَّحَّاكِ، قَالَا: ثنا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ زَبْرٍ، عَنْ بِلَالِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ وَكَانَتْ لَهُ صُحْبَةٌ قَالَ: قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، مَا لِلْخَلِيفَةِ بَعْدَكِ؟ قَالَ: «مَا لِي مَا رَحِمَ ذَا الرَّحِمِ، وأَقْسَطَ فِي الْقِسْطِ، وَعَدَلَ فِي الْقِسْمَةِ»
Bilal bin Sa'd narrates from his father, whose companionship is established, who said: I said: O Messenger of Allah, what is (the right) of the caliph after you? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The same as mine, as long as he shows mercy to relatives, does justice in matters of justice, and is fair in distribution."
